Not In My Neighbourhood Week Community Safety Event

Monday 2nd - Friday 6th November 2009

This week of action gives local agencies, such as the Police & other services involved in community safety, the opportunity to tell residents what work is being done in their local area to make your community a safer place to live.

We will be holding a Community Safety Event to give you an opportunity to meet and learn more about services in your area that are working to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour. There will be a number of stands for you to browse around with advice and information about how you can play your part in community safety. Here's your chance to find out what we're doing to keep you safe, and for you to tell us what concerns you the most!

Services Involved are:

Your Neighbourhood Policing Teams, your Local Action Teams/Community Safety Groups, Drug and Alcohol Services, Trading Standards, Anchor Staying Put, and Sussex Fire Services among a few.

Working Together

We want to use this event to bring together communities from Eastern Road, Tarner, St Jame's Street, Queens Park, Craven Vale and Bristol Estate together to say 'no' to crime in our neighbourhoods.

When and Where?

This event is being held on Tuesday 3rd November 2009, from 2pm-4pm in St Mary's Church Hall, Upper St Jame's Street, Kemptown. For more information please contact Becky on 01273 292967.
